The artist Daniele Basso, creator of the stage for Andrea Bocelli's Ali di Libertà concert, was, with his wife Elisa, a guest on 28 July 2019 in Forte dei Marmi, in the splendid and exclusive Villa Bocelli, at the Celebrity Fight Night, a charity event organized by the Andrea Bocelli Foundation to raise funds for the Foundation's projects. During the evening there was also a charity auction held by Christie's where the work Ali di Libertà was awarded at more than three times the value of esteem. The artist created this sculpture specifically for the evening and was donated to support the event of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. The work, depicting a winged man about one meter tall, is a very similar sketch, in scale, to the monumental sculpture Gabriel, symbol of the scenography of the concert at the Teatro del Silenzio 2019.
